Clinical Testing
Metabolomix + is a test with a unique combination of nutritional tests that provides an analysis of key nutritional biomarkers. The Metabolomix + nutritional test is a non-invasive assessment (via urine; however, some of the add-ons require a small blood spot sample). It is a patient-friendly way to assess the functional need for antioxidants, B-vitamins, minerals, digestive support, amino acids urine elements (as an add-on) and fatty acids (as an add-on).
This extensive nutrient assessment covers many markers including organic acids, malabsorption and dysbiosis indicators, vitamins and minerals, toxins and heavy metals, oxidative stress and so much more.
We can then accurately focus on any specific issues and the protocols employed will give a bespoke plan of action to maximise your health.

The organic acids part of this comprehensive assessment offers valuable insights into malabsorption and dysbiosis issues in the digestive system, vitamin, toxin and detoxification markers.
Omega 3/6/9 fatty acids and ratios as well as saturated and monounsaturated fatty acids. In addition, Delta-6 desaturase enzyme activity is assessed and together these may indicate cardiovascular risk.
Lead, mercury and other toxins can be measured as well as APOE and MTHFR (C677T and A1298C) SNPs which could have a potentially detrimental effect on a person’s health if not addressed by an experienced practitioner with this relevant information. Cain is that person.
